- Other than the textbook, no new material is introduced in any of
the other activities below. They are supplemental, but will greatly
aid in understanding the concepts introduced in the textbook.
Study
Guide
- The Study Guide is an organized and most helpful in summarizing and
helping you to assess what is important in the textbook readingThe use
of the different self-quizzes included will help you to identify areas
you need to review further.
Related Web Site
- This is a selected web site which is particularly related to the
chapter topic
- Determine the ranking of your multiple intelligences
- Click on "Overview"
- Look in the upper right portion just above the table
- Click on "Ready to Print & Use M.I. Inventory"
- Highlight the ENTIRE document, then copy and paste it into
"MS Word" or "Word Perfect"
- Go through each section with the exception of the Graph
- Note which is your strongest and weakest intelligence
- Read through "My M.I. Overview" found in the left column
and 1st cell of the table
- Scan through some of the links below in the section labeled "The
Intelligences" that relate to your STRONGEST and WEAKEST multiple
intelligences
- In one paragraph comment identify and comment on your STRONGEST
and WEAKEST intelligence in your email.

Crossword Puzzle
- You may wish to use the Crossword Puzzle for reviewing, in a uniquely
challenging way, some of the concepts and terms you have studied in
this chapter as you prepare for the Quiz and/or Chapter Exam
- Select the chapter in which you are working
- Select "Crossword Puzzle"
- Place your cursor in the first block where you wish to begin,
then just type in your answer
- Note the terms to the upper right. "Revert" will erase the answers;
"Reveal" will show the answer for the row or column in which is
your cursor; "Solution" will fill the entire puzzle with the correct
answers
Flashcards
- You may wish to use the Flashcards for reviewing some of the concepts
and terms you have studied in this chapter in preparation for the Quiz
and
chapter Exam. (This activity uses the "Macromedia Shockwave" multimedia
plug-in. You will be prompted to download it. It is free and is a one-time
installation. You will be prompted for a free download if it is not
found on your computer.)

by clicking "Flip Card" just below
