Depart Atlanta for Munich, evening flight. Vegetarian dinner
and breakfast served enroute.

2 Tuesday, May 20- Germany, Austria
Arrive in Munich. Pickup van. Drive to Salzburg. Get settled
in Hostel.

3 Wednesday, May 21 - Austria
Today we experience the "Sound of Music" with a bicycle tour
of Salzburg, including the REAL von Trapp house! In the afternoon
will visit the Mozart birthhouse and museum. (Will visit sites
related to: Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer, Sigmund Freud,
Albert Einstein, Christian Doppler, Wolfgang Mozart)

4 Thursday, May 22 - Austria
Drive through the majestic Alps as we tour the outlying area
including "Sound of Music" sites. At the "wedding church" town
of Mondsee we will eat Fraulein Braun's Apple Strudel. Continue
on to Vienna. (Will visit sites related to: Franz Gruber, Joseph
Mohr)

5 Friday, May 23 - Austria
Wake up late today after our drive to Vienna. It is a big city,
but our hostel is on the edge of the city and located in the "Vienna
Woods." Visit to the fascinating Medical History museum which
includes the famous wax cadavers. Will also see some of the original
works of Freud, etc.

6 Sabbath, May 24 - Austria
Fascinating visits to expand our understanding of and appreciation
for biblical backgrounds as we visit the Ephesus Museum, Egypt
Museum, and the Papyrus Museum. Vespers at the Memorial Cemetary
after visiting graves of Mozart, Strauss, etc.

7 Sunday, May 25 - Austria
Full day today. Start off with a Freud tour ending up at his
Vienna clinic, now the Freud Museum. During this tour will also
visit the Strauss Museum. Visit to the Narenturm the historical,
and unique, psychiatric hospital. (Will visit sites related to:
Alfred Adler, Sigmund Freud, Franz Joseph Gall, Viktor Frankl,
Oskar Spiel, Carl Gustav Jung, Ludwig Beethoven, M.B. Czechowski,
Paul Simmelweiss, Strauss family, etc.)

8 Monday, May 26 - Austria
Van tour of the area north of Vienna. Will include sites related
to Freud, Beethoven, and Lorenz. High up on the Khalenburg, with
Vienna spread out below, we will savor apricot and chocolate specialty
dessert. A guided tour of the magnificent Schonbrunn Palace. (Will
visit sites related to: Sigmund Freud, Ludwig Beethoven)

9 Tuesday, May 27 - Austria, Germany
Rather long drive today back to Germany. Visit to the Mathausen
concentration camp. Arriving Trockau late afternoon we get
settled in the quaint village where we will spend the night.

10 Wednesday, May 28 - Germany
Drive through the Thurinigen Forest to Jena. Early afternoon
a walking tour of this university town and recent headquarters
of Zeiss Optical. Visit the "Black Bear Hotel" where Luther spent
the night on his return to Wittenberg from his "friendly" captivity
in the castle. Tram and walking tour of Leipzig with a focus on
sites related to Wundt, the university where he taught, his house,
laboratories, and grave. And for lunch a "Wundt Falafel Sandwich"!
The tour ends, with dessert at the Ice Palace where you may select
your choice from lasagna, spaghetti, or pizza ice cream. Either
is "out of this world." But if you are skeptical there is much
more from which to choose. Late afternoon leave for Nibschen and
sleep at the convent site of.Katrina von Bora, Martin Luther's
wife. (Will visit sites related to: Jena - Martin Luther, Philipp
Melanchthon, Karl Volkmar Stoy, Johann Friedrich Herbart, Karl
Zeiss; Leipzig - Wilhelm Wundt, Gustav Theodor Fechner, Johann

11 Thursday, May 29 - Germany
Visit Torgau and then on to Wittenberg. Walking tour of Wittenberg
and visit to Luther Museum. Will spend the night in the Castle--same
building as the church of the 95 theses. Albrecht Druer, "Praying
Hands" sculpture also slept here. (Will visit sites related
to: Luther and the Reformation, University of Wittenberg)

12 Friday, May 30 - Germany
Leaving for Berlin, we will stop on at Helmholtz grave. (Will
visit sites related to: Hermann von Helmholtz)

13 Sabbath, May 31 - Germany
Worship service at hostel. Late morning and early afternoon
visit to the Pergamum and Babylon Museum to gain insight into
both Daniel and Revelation. Vesper service at the grave of Johannes
Muller. (Will visit sites related to: Daniel, Johannes Muller)

14 Sunday, June 1- Germany
Walking tour, "Topography of Terror," which will include a visit
to "Checkpoint Charlie" and the museum. Free afternoon. (Will
visit sites related to: Adolf Hitler, Hermann Goering, Rudolf
Hess, Josef Goebbels, Albert Speer)
